I'm Dr. Marc Braman, and I would like to introduce you to the missing blueprint on how humans work and why we don't, shared in my two upcoming books:
- The Human Experience of Reality (the complete manual)
- How Humans Work (the user's guide).
Our goal is to enable people to experience the greatest happiness, health, and wholeness they are capable of, individually and collectively, by understanding how humans work and why they don't.
About Marc Braman, MD, MPH, FACLM, FACPM
"What kind of doctor do you want to be?"
When I was asked this question in medical school, my reply was usually "A good one!"
I wasn't just being a smart aleck. I understood deeply that paper degrees on walls didn't make one a good doctor. Being a healer did, and seeking to know and understand as much as possible to best help those served did.
Passionate about bringing life, health, and joy into others’ lives, my mission is to help increase one's health and happiness. This is why, in my private practice, my patients are the beneficiaries of this guided Lifestyle Medicine experience.
Degrees and letters
While degrees and letters don't make you a good doctor, they are a reflection of professional accomplishment and proficiency.

MD = Medical Doctor

MPH = Master of Public Health, Epidemiology (the science of medical research)
-

FACPM = Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine
Pioneer
I'm blessed to have played a leading role in nationally establishing the American College of Lifestyle Medicine ("treat the cause") as the professional organization of the newly defined field of Lifestyle Medicine, working with the global leaders in this space. Through this spirit of service I've developed new models of ideal health care and continue to teach this to healthcare professionals.
In essence: "It's about the patient." This is why I'm now pioneering a national patient representative organization.
Outside of my private practice, I offer personalized one-to-one coaching, couples coaching, facilitate group training and tailored workshops, and welcome the opportunity to teach and speak. These offerings promote communication and collaboration while driving genuine collective engagement.
